We drive through the rolling hills of Kwa-Zulu Natal to the incredibly beautiful Drakensberg Mountains with its breathtaking views. We will then travel by 4 x 4 to the highest pass in Africa
which takes you into the highlands of the Kingdom of Lesotho. We will visit the Sani top chalet which is one of the most isolated pubs in Africa. It is certainly the highest. The area is renowned for its incredible scenery, flora and birdlife. This is the home of the eland, the largest antelope in Africa, duikers, baboons and the rare bearded vulture. Passports are essential for entry into Lesotho, and jerseys, jeans and binoculars are must.- Drive through the rolling hills of the Midlands to the town of Underberg.
- Board a 4x4 vehicle, the only means by which to tackle the Sani Pass.
- Enter the Kingdom of Lesotho - another stamp for your passport!
- Visit a nearby Sotho Village, for a taste of local culture.
- Light lunch (included) in the highest pub in Africa, with it's incredible views.
- Visit the magnificent Howick Waterfall on your return (time permitting).
